RUTH ASAWA PUBLIC ART WALK

Sunday, August 31st | 10am-2pm or 11am-2pm
Offsite in San Francisco | All are welcome

Join us for a scenic volunteer-lead walk through San Francisco’s most treasured neighborhoods and visit five of San Francisco’s most accessible outdoor works of Ruth Asawa’s art.

To offer participants a longer walk or a shorter walk, this event has one route with two start times. The route is mostly flat, and has crosswalks, traffic lighting and curb cuts for wheelchairs. Participants may wish to stop at SF MOMA for a last look at the Ruth Asawa Retrospective which ends on September 2nd.

Our route begins at Japantown’s Origami Fountains, continues to SF Yesterday and Today at the PARC Hilton; to Union Square’s San Francisco Fountain,  through Yerba Buena Gardens to the Embarcadero’s Aurora, and through North Beach, to our walk’s end at Ghirardelli Square’s Andrea Fountain.
