RADICAL RESILIENCE ACCESS TOUR: BLIND/LOW VISION FRIENDLY

Thursday, September 18 | 5:30–7:00 PM
Onsite | Free

Explore Radical Resilience: Holding the Line through touch, sound, and creative engagement:

5:30–6:15 PM: Art-Making with Rae Lanzerotti
Create a tactile mini-print using “swell printing,” with the option to add it to a group collage. This process, often used to create materials for blind and low-vision communities, is adapted by artist Rae Lanzerotti for memoir comics, textured photo collages, and assemblages—including works featured in Radical Resilience: Holding the Line.

6:15–6:40 PM: Tactile / Low-Vision-Friendly Tour
Engage with the exhibition through descriptive audio, QR codes, and multisensory touchpoints. Audio will be shared via Bluetooth loudspeaker and/or personal headphones (BYO), with protective covers and a few spare headsets available.

6:40–7:00 PM: Hand-Making with Maia Scott
Add your decorated hand to Maia’s collaborative One Peace Labyrinth installation—a growing artwork representing community care and connection.

This evening opens up new ways of experiencing art—expanding access, honoring creativity, and celebrating collective resilience.
