As part of Ruth’s Table’s Boldly Ourselves Pride Month celebration, join Clayers Club founder Kristin Houk for a two-part ceramic workshop where you'll sculpt and glaze a hand to be included in Progress Hands — a community installation honoring identity, unity, and collective expression.
Hands of all shapes, sizes, and colors will come together in a large wall-mounted circle celebrating the beauty of diversity.
No experience necessary. All materials provided.
About Kristin Houk: Kristin is a San Francisco based restaurateur, artist and designer. She owns and operates three Bayview district restaurants: All Good Pizza, Tato and Cafe Alma and founded the San Francisco Clayer's Club, a public access pottery studio. She is passionate about her community and loves working in clay, culinary arts and hospitality and graphic and interior design. Her most treasured creation and role is being mom to her son Hudson, who is also an artist.
