Join this uplifting 8-week course as we explore diverse dance styles from the Afro-Latin diaspora. From partner Cumbia, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha social dancing to funky grooves like Boogaloo, Reggaeton and mucho más, you’ll dance your way into wellness while moving to your favorite tropical beats.
Absolute beginners are welcome! This fun, intergenerational experience invites you to connect with your neighbors, express yourself, and move with JOY!

Andrea Rodriguez
Andrea Rodriguez is a vibrant dance educator and wellness innovator with over 20 years of experience helping people of all ages move with confidence and joy. She blends easy-to-learn Afro-Latin dance styles such as Salsa, Cumbia, Rumba, and Cha Cha Cha. She will warm you up with easy and gentle Pilates, mobility and low-impact exercises. Andrea is known for her warm, encouraging teaching style that makes everybody feel welcome on the dance floor.
She currently teaches Beginners Salsa at the University of San Francisco and performs throughout the Bay Area, inspiring communities through movement, music, and cultural celebration. Andrea believes that movement is medicine and invites dancers of every generation to discover energy, wellness, and connection one joyful step at a time!
