If you could represent your day with a line, would it be an even, smooth stitch or knotted and erratic? Come explore how your day may look through a piece of fabric.
Participants will use screenprinting, drawing, embroidery and needle-based techniques to experiment on fabric and create multi-layered works.
Led by artist Irene Carvajal, the workshop takes inspiration from artist Paul Klee's art lesson "Take a line for a walk".
Participants are invited to leave one of their pieces for an exhibit at Ruth’s Table gallery in September. The item will be returned to you in October and you can wear a work of art.
This events is happening in conjunction with Beyond the Warp and Weft.
